Matanzas

On a photowalk with local photographers Julio César Garcìa and David López Cruz, my husband Maik and I had the wonderful opportunity to visit David’s grandfather Evelio in the Matanzas province. On the occasion, we were served chicken soup, which was prepared with the help of his neighbors. A chicken was slaughtered, vegetables harvested, and lovely Yoelmis devoted herself to the task.
